Completed in April 2012 109.5 MW, the Shady Oaks Wind Farm near Compton, Illinois consists of 71 Goldwind turbines and adds 109.5 MW to the state’s wind energy capacity. It has 17.5 miles of access roads, 33.5 miles of underground collection system

The Shady Oaks project is the first major wind project in the U.S. to utilize the advanced “Permanent Magnet Direct Drive Technology.” The Goldwind 1.5 and 2.5 MW turbines are designed for significantly reduced maintenance and total operating expenditures and reduces the number of high-speed rotational parts and avoids the sources of expensive faults that require crane mobilization.

It is oversized all right
Bayport, MN
St. Croix River by Bayport, MN is tributary to mighty Mississippi. So if one of this little one set its mind on it can end up 1385 miles and 20 days later in the Atlantic ocean. Simple like that. It all depends on your goals.

Scott is troubled by some serious medical possibilities. He had biopsy only last week and was sick of worry about there outcome of it. There was call, that we have missed form the clinic and we were afraid what the news will be.
“We need to face whatever the outcome is. If it is good, we will have our mind free to embrace the time ahead. If it is bad – we will have time to sort out the facts and to plan what to do next without falling into a mind-blowing grief.” I told Scott. Watching his child playing in the park helped him to jump out of the fear and we call the doctor.
It was the best news we have been hoping for – negative.

Now we can surrender to the feast waiting for us.
